Shoot for TJMM

March 10, 2018 6AM at PhilSports Complex

After borrowing lens from a friend, I proceeded in Phil Sports Complex in Pasig City, formerly called Ultra. This is where I met with my friends from Try Jesus Multisport Ministry where they practice every Saturday morning. I was using a prime 50mm lens for most of the shoot. My shoot was dual purpose, to capture photos for my portfolio, and to take photos of them in training to help them create promotional materials. During this time, I was told that DSLR’s were not permitted, and a permit can be secured with a hefty price. That is why we decided to go on incognito mode. All of the shots were handheld so I cranked up the shutter speed and ISO to capture them in midair while running, jogging. This is where I took the photos titled: PUSH, STRIVE, and JUNE. Afterwards, my friend Michael Julio help me gazed upon the concrete jungle of Ortigas business district. I took photos of the street scene and he took photos of me alongside. I was always fascinated of patterns and angular structures found in this area of the city. I looked up and took photos of buildings by standing near the corner. Luckily, the road was closed for recreational bikes and food stalls so we had freedom in taking shots. This is where I took a photo titled ZEBRA.
